The player will have to wait a little while before this icon starts to shake, indicating that one of their eggs is ready to hatch! Upon obtaining an egg, the player will notice an egg icon appear in the top right hand corner of their screen. Upon obtaining a monster egg, it will be put into an available incubator slot in the 'Eggs' section of the player's overworld menu, indicated by an icon of a large egg. The Dream Egg is an egg given to the player by a monster. It has its own unique overworld sprite and, furthermore, the player must use an unusual method in order to obtain the Panipillr inside!Ĭertain monsters can only be obtained through receiving eggs gifted from NPCs or monsters.Ĭurrently, as of the beta version of Monster Crown, Enmirae is the only(?) monster that is exclusively obtained through an egg that is gifted to the player. Panipillr's Egg, located in the caves in Flowering Province, is an exceptional example of a wild Monster Egg. Although this stops you from picking the egg up immediately, the mother's species will be the same as the eggs, so this battle enables you to see what species of monster the egg will hatch into before you even collect it! To the plucky egg-collecting players out there, this battle can therefore be a source of great excitement and anticipation! I've exhausted myself trying to search every nook and cranny by land and sea and still have yet to even find an area I can access I haven't already been to before, and I don't see any further hints to any others that I haven't found yet.Sometimes when trying to pick up a wild egg, you can be attacked and forced into battle by the egg's angered mother! She cannot be tamed using a pact, and so you must defeat her in order to obtain her egg. Lastly, it's possible outside of the three that are ocean encounter dependent specifically that a lot of others may only be found though Trade/Wild Egg. I can also confirm the strange monster I saw on the telescope is another monster that is very hard to find, and is found wandering the ocean, is technically a boss at lv150. There apparently are 3 general areas Lucifer will spawn and it's a once an in-game day kind of thing, with 25% chance of spawning. Having joined the Discord and lurking in some of the chats I can confirm that Tidhan is a monster that will be removed and replaced with a DLC monster, hence why it just looks like a palette swap of Scavengeist, and Omozon is one of three possible eggs you will get from encountering Lucifer within the ocean. Omozon (Chance to drop from the Ocean giant) Tidhan (Don't know where it's from, it is a pallete swap of scavengeist and has no description)ħ1. Here is the spreadsheet: Monster Crown Notebook monster list It would be a great help to get help on finding these last monsters to try to obtain them all and build my personal dream team. So this post is basically just to ask for confirmation if all monsters are currently available or not, and if so, some possible hints as to finding them (preferably without giving names).įor that I also made sure to create a spreadsheet listing my current Notebook progress with all the monsters and whether or not they've been obtained (and since I wasn't looking up names of the monsters I have never seen they're listed as ?). Anyways, as someone who loves to obtain every possible monster, I'm curious as to whether or not all monsters are now obtainable.Īfter filling up at least four boxes of monsters newly obtainable, I found that there are still a number of entries that I have yet to even locate, with one I've seen in battle but never could find in the wild (Thallox). It was quite a wild ride especially finding the entire post-game area. Now that the game is out of Early Access, I went back and experienced the rest of the story, and the post-game content.
